Okay yeah, this is even more Kingdom Hearts than it was before. Hopefully no adorable little world eaters will attack. Though you wouldn't mind some sort of ship to carry you around wherever you go. For now you're walking on foot. At least you're somehow dry- you have no clue how, but you aren't looking this gift horse in the mouth.

It doesn't appear to be wooden, anyway.

You walk away from the ocean tide as it ebbs and flows, calling out to any who might hear you. But nobody responds, and you haven't seen anyone yet. Are you alone in this strange new place? You hope not, you could really use some company, and an explanation, And maybe some help finding food. You're starting to wish you'd eaten one of those apples when you had the chance. There are some bushes all around you, and you scan them for berries or tasty treats, but they seem to be empty other than their luscious green leaves. Too bad you aren't a panda.

You walk for what feels like ages, dragging your feet through the sand. The sun is still hanging in the sky, and you're starting to fear a sunburn. As far as magical journeys go, this is 'not' the childhood fantasy you played over and over in your head as you grew up. Your feet are starting to hurt and your throats going dry.

You keep calling for help, but if you don't get any water soon, you're not certain you'll be able to keep this up.

And so you walk, wishing for the best. Or anything really. At this point you'll take a change in routine. But complaining accomplishes nothing, so you trek forth, and your legs start to tense and your back aches. You can hear your own heart beating, loudly dub-dubbing in your chest. It's rhythm is strained, you aren't used to this much exercise. It's time for a break, you decide. So you sit down and close your eyes, taking a moment to massage your calves. you've earned it.

Only then do you hear the rustling in the bush. You snap to attention, body tensing as you go on full alert. "Hello? I can hear you!" Hopefully that scares any would be attackers away, you don't think you could handle a fight in your condition.

That's when someone steps out. They look pretty young, mid twenties at the oldest. Their hair is dyed pink and lime green, and their outfit is incredibly bright. They've got a black hoodie over a striped shirt with lines of pink, white, and neon green (it seems they've got favorites.) To top it off they've got a pink and green plaid skirt.

Oh and most strikingly, they're a cat person, with ears and a tail.

"I mean you no harm. Forgive my secrecy, but I've been trying to watch you, to see what kind of a person you are. Though I suppose that's not the best way to meet someone and learn about them. It's hard for me to make a character judgment when you haven't done much of anything. But you can forgive me for my secrecy, I think it's understandable why I wouldn't want to trust a complete stranger."

"Uh, yeah, I guess." you get a feeling you're missing context.

"My name is Navalia. She/her. Now, let's hurry up and get somewhere safe before we're attacked."

"Attacked by what?" A simple question, but Navalia looks at you like some sort of three headed Broadway singer. "I'm not from around here."

"And here I thought the whole world knew about the Vostfrs." She tenses up. "They're vile creatures who attack places thriving with life and destroy everything. They're not immortal but they can be tough to kill without proper training." She looked at her feet, clutching her fists. "Look, let's just hurry before it's too-"

"Too late!" She draws two daggers from her pocket as darkness gathers up around her. "Do you know how to fight?"

You shake your head no. You've never been in so much as a fist fight your entire life. You aren't sure how you're supposed to handle creatures like these. They solidify around you, looking like wild beasts. Their fur comes in unnatural colors, blue, violet, neon green, and they're hunched over on all fours, claws out.

"Well, these are small fry so we should be safe." Navalia hands you her satchel, hanging from her waist. "I've got some weapons in there, pick one."

What grab?
