But it's simple enough and hopefully future people wanting to solve this can now find this page instead of dozens of Reddit threads from 5 years ago that nobody answered.

You'll need root permissions. Go to <code>/lib/udev/rules.d</code>. Create a file named <code>51-gcadapter.rules</code>. And fill it with this:

What's it do? No fuckin idea. I'm sure someone who's like, really autistic about Linux knows exactly what they're looking at and can explain it to me in complete detail. But I only switched to Linux because Windows started pissing me off. My autism lies elsewhere.
